Just got publishers copies of another book I did some work in. Hardcover for Justice League of America: Team History. My inks over Mark Bagley's pencils.
Here's a inset panel I inked. The panel was then inserted into a full page that someone else inked. Not sure exactly which page.
Here's one of the few pages I worked on in this volume.
How much of a change was it for you to ink Bags? Just seems like more of an angular (sp?) style for you to adapt to than the heavy inks of Justinano or someone like M. Brooks, with the more open/animated feel.
I did look at the pages by the regular Inker before I tackled the pages I was assigned. Give the inks more of the same feel before I started working on it. Inking over Bagley was fun for me especially since I was a fan of his Ultimate Spidey work.
By the way, I re-uploaded the same page. The other one wasn't adjusted for clarity on Photoshop.

ReplyDeleteAwesome none the less.
