WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN #19

Here's issue #19 of Wolverine and the X-Men with my inks over Nick Bradshaw.

This first panel too a very long time.  All those bees within the cape.  I wasn't just inking bees, I was inking around bees.

The Beast!

Deadpool, Longshot, Spidey, Kitty.

Kitty and Ororo

X-O Manowar. Inking fun

Here's some pages I did for fun.  None of these are used for publishing, regardless of the headings I wrote down.  Sometimes I get used to writing those headings, that it's just automatic.  In any case, these were practice over Cary Nord's pencils.  I had the urge to approach the inks differently to see how they would turn out.
The above was inked more looser.  Did some grey wash on that robot in panel one.

This one was inked with more contol.

Then these two images/panels, were a lot of fun to ink.

WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN #13

Wolverine and the X-Men #13 with my inks over Nick Bradshaw's pencils.

Every time I get double page spreads to work on, I would do those first.  I like completing them early as it's a lot of work.  Not to mention twice as large.  Double page spread are usually two 11x17 size boards taped together to form an 17x22 area.  I'll start off inking all the pencils that are on the center of the double page spreads.  Once that's done, I'll collapse/fold the boards back to 11x17 and ink it like that. Covering up the bottom portion of the art with a large envelope to protect it from getting dirty and ink on the opposite side.

Kissing Ice Man's head

Kirby Krakle is usually time consuming to ink.  Easy, but time consuming.

MARVEL SIEMENS

The company, Siemens, hired Marvel to create a comic for them.  Marvel hired penciller Kevin Sharp and myself for inks.  It was for some video comic on on their website.  That's why these pages are bits and pieces of images.  They were used to create animation for webisodes.

With the animation, here's where Iron Man flies down to a sidewalk with a bunch of people.  As he lands, the jet boosters on his left foot activates for a landing, then smoke arises.

With this animation, Iron Man/Tony Stark walks along some buildings.  The face mask would be on.  As he walks, the face mask open up and revels him as Tony Stary.

Here's Iron Man entering a glass door.  As he enters, his right arm armor starts to transform revealing the sleeve of  his right arm suit holding a card.

WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN #11

Here's Wolverine and the X-Men #11.  My inks over Nick Bradshaw's Pencils.

This was a fun page to work on.  Lost of characters on this page alone.

And here's Red Hulk!  Also known as "Rulk".

Wolverine

This was a challenging page to work on.  Especially panel 3 with all those art in between the blades

Dressed up as Darth Vader

Here's a picture of me dressed as Darth Vader for Halloween of 2013.  I was the Emcee for the Costume Parade at a local elementary School.
Even with that microphone, I had a hard time talking out of that helmet.  There were slits at the mouth of Darth Vader's helmet, but I've been told that people couldn't hear me.  It's tough being in the Dark Side.

Commissions. Pencil and inks comparison.

A Commission piece I've working.  Pencils by Mike Bowden and inks by me.  The client wanted to see both the pencils before and my inks after.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN DIGITAL #18

Been months since I updated here.  And a little bit over a year since I posted any of my work.  I'm going to rewind a bit and post all the stuff I've worked on since.  Starting by the oldest to the more recent.  So here goes....

Below is a project I've done for Marvel Digital.  I don't believe this was ever published as a comic, rather it was published for their website.  Pencils are from Adam DeKraker with inks by byself.
Above is the credits page.  Looks like a cover page, but it's not.

This was the character that was in the story's comic.

And here's Web Head.
This project was done sometime in 2010!  Gotta catch up with my updates!  :)
